Due to our continuing growth, a new position has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our close-knit team in a full-time capacity.
Requirements:
• DVM or equivalent
• An experienced and confident Vet Surgeon
• Sole charge and leadership skills, or the drive to become a leader as a Senior member of the team
• Extremely high standards of care with a focus on preventative health
• Exceptional client relationship building skills.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct tests such as x-rays, blood samples and ultrasound scans
• Carry out health checks and provide vaccinations
• Perform surgical procedures and supervise post-operative care
• Suggest advice to owners regarding their animals, e.g. dietary recommendations
• Diagnose and treat illnesses in a variety of companion animals
• Prescribe the appropriate treatment or operating on the animal if necessary
Remuneration: Starting salary of BND $1,400 (depending on experience). No income tax. Accommodation provided.
